New this year, the HMB Fire Department will be showing their skills at the 1st Firefighter Challenge.   The Fire Safety House will be open for viewing. Cold drinks & t-shirts are for sale (lots of kids sizes), and free stickers for the kids.  The HMB Volunteer Fire Department are fundraising for a lifesaving training tool, the Resuci-Annie doll.  Please give generously to these dedicated community members, as the lives they train to save are ours.

If you would like to set up a craft table or perform on the open stage, please contact Leslie at 885 0729.  If you would like to donate something for the Silent Auction, please contact Jacquie at  885 3103.

This is a volunteer run community event with donated support from businesses in our community.  All the efforts are fundraising for community groups.  In this spirit of Community, we encourage, and welcome, you all to attend the Country Fair.

Work Party – help needed…

The Kindercare will be moving from their current location on Wildwood, to a new space at the HMB Community School.  The staff will pack up the contents, but volunteers are needed to actually move everything over.  A few people, a few trucks and a few hours will bring our kids to their new home.  Work party is planned for a tbd day at the end of July.  Please let us know if you can help.  Speak to any staff at pre-school/daycare, out of school care, or kindercare.   THANKS!

Scholastic

The final Scholastic flyers of the year are in – last chance until September to order these great books at low prices! There are 5 flyers in this batch – we can still order from May Elf & SeeSaw, June Elf & SeeSaw, and the Summer Fun flyer. Orders are due by June 16th so that the shipment can reach us before the end of the preschool year. Thanks to all for your support this year – we should be putting in the order for that furniture this time!

I’ve had fun with this one, but as Eli & I move on to Kindergarten next year, I’m looking for someone to take it on. Please let the staff know if you’re interested. Thanks!

Karyn
